South East Health is a major not for profit primary care provider, with extensive experience of delivering high value contracts. Since November 2005, we have provided a full primary care unscheduled care service across the South East, in accordance with national requirements under the GMS contract.

We are a membership organisation of some 600 GPs, with a Board of Directors comprised of both GPs and experienced executives with a background in the health and care sector. Our corporate structure is excellent. Our senior management team includes former senior managers from various local PCTs who are experienced in developing services to meet the needs of these populations.

South East Health was formed on 1st April 2006, following the merger of two pioneering GP co-ops, SEADOC and BRIGHTDOC. We were awarded the contract to provide out of hours services to patients in Swale from 1st April 2008, and merged with StourCare on the same date. Shortly afterwards, on 1st August 2008, we merged with On Call Care, increasing out patient base to 2.2million across Kent and Sussex. On 1st September 2008, we commenced the community nursing out of hours service contract for Brighton PCT.

Today, South East Health is at the forefront of helping to shape and implement national unscheduled care policy, working closely with the NHS Alliance. We share the strategic vision to develop multi-agency, multi-disciplinary centres – and see this as building on our existing services.

SEH has been awarded the ISO9001 quality standard and the ISO14001 Environmental Standard.

We are a registered Sage Professional Development Partner, enabling us to integrate existing applications with the Sage Mid-market range of products including Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll. We can also add extra customised features to Sage products where there is a need to provide something that is not currently available in the standard product.
